Project Coordinator

Our client is a highly respected Main Contractor listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange with over 50 years of deep-rooted history in the local construction market. • Location: Kowloon Hong Kong
• Project Type: Private Sector Residential Development
• Current Phase: Superstructure completed; transitioning into full internal architectural works building services coordination and high-end fitting-out phases.

• Site Coordination: Act as the primary bridge on-site coordinating day-to-day construction activities between architectural/interior consultants building services engineers and site sub-contractors.
• Progress Monitoring: Closely monitor field progress workmanship quality and contract compliance during the critical internal fit-out and finishing phases.
• Drawing & Material Review: Assist in reviewing shop drawings material submissions and method statements to ensure alignment with developer standards and statutory building regulations.
• Problem Solving: Proactively identify on-site coordination clashes (especially between structural finishes and building services) and coordinate swift resolutions to keep the project on schedule.
• Safety & Quality Control: Assist the project management team in enforcing high safety standards and strict quality control protocols across all internal finishing teams.

• Education: Higher Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering Building Studies Construction Management Surveying or a related discipline.
• Experience: Minimum of 25 years of site coordination experience with main contractors in Hong Kong. (Candidates with more experience will be considered for the Senior Project Coordinator track).
• Sector Focus: Solid experience working on Private Residential Developments is highly preferred. Experience working with major private developers is a strong advantage; however strong candidates with solid Government/Housing Authority residential project backgrounds are welcome to apply.
• Skills: Good understanding of local building regulations sharp coordination skills and a proactive problem-solving mindset.
• Language: Fluent in spoken and written Chinese (Cantonese) and English.
