Acting as the primary in-market interface with government stakeholders industry partners and the distributor the role will combine policy shaping stakeholder engagement tender coordination pricing and inventory governance and operational follow-through. The role requires a strong understanding of the business excellent external judgment and the ability to influence policy discussions in a compliant and constructive way to advance patient access healthcare innovation and sustainable business execution in Macau.

WHAT YOU WILL DO
Main Responsibilities:
Maintain a deep understanding of the Macau healthcare policy landscape including emerging policy developments in regulatory healthcare financing procurement tender developments stakeholder priorities and industry dynamics and assess implications for our company portfolio and business strategy
Build and maintain strong relationships with relevant government stakeholders healthcare institutions industry associations and other key external partners.
Translate our company Macaus business priorities portfolio needs and access challenges into clear policy priorities stakeholder engagement plans and advocacy narratives.
Proactively identify policy risks and opportunities that may impact market access pricing reimbursement tenders product availability or commercial execution.
Develop and execute stakeholder engagement strategies to inform policy discussions shape external understanding of our company priorities and advocate for patient access innovation recognition and sustainable healthcare investment in Macau.
Support preparation for high-stakes government and stakeholder discussions including briefing materials key messages scenario planning and follow-up actions.
Collaborate with internal cross functional teams to ensure Macau market opportunities risks and operational issues are surfaced early and addressed effectively.
Ensure all external engagement and advocacy activities are conducted in line with company policies compliance standards and applicable laws.
Operations:
Oversee key market operations and serve as the primary interface with the Macau distributor.
Coordinate cross-functional support for commercial priorities including tender management and consumption tracking.
Act as the local in-market representative and support smooth office operations and external coordination.
WHAT YOU MUST HAVE
Requirements and Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Business Life Sciences Public Policy or a related discipline
Minimum of 5 years experience engaging with government public-sector regulatory and/or institutional stakeholders in Macau
Strong understanding of how policy regulation procurement and government decision-making influence business outcomes.
Candidates with healthcare/pharmaceutical experience and a well-established network within the Macau government and healthcare ecosystem is preferred; experience in other highly regulated industries in Macau may also be relevant
Strong influencing negotiation and stakeholder management skills with the ability to build trust and credibility with senior external stakeholders
High judgment discretion and maturity in managing sensitive external relationships and business-critical discussions.
Ability to operate independently as the companys key local representative while staying closely aligned with regional and local commercial teams.
Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to develop persuasive messages for senior stakeholders; Proficiency in English and Chinese; knowledge of Mandarin is an advantage
Experience working with distributors tender processes pricing governance and market operations is desirable
Strong business acumen with the ability to translate policy and operational insights into actionable priorities
