IT Finance Manager
Job Summary
Position Responsibilities:
- Support management on tracking the IT expense forecast and KPI targets ensuring accuracy timeliness and alignment with approved plans
- Prepare and maintain regular management reporting on financial and headcount providing clear insights for HK and regional stakeholders
- Review key operational finance processes including accruals intercompany recharge capitalization and vendor payment requests across multiple tools and platforms to ensure completeness and accuracy
- Perform FTE reconciliations and participate in FTE forecasting to facilitate effective resource management across both KLO and Build activities
- Assist in IT budget planning cycle by consolidating inputs and validating assumptions perform detailed variance analysis proactively identifying key drivers risks and opportunities and supporting stakeholders to enable informed decision-making
- Partner with regional IT Finance to ensure accurate cost allocation aligned with approved budgets while maintaining clear financial transparency
- Support process improvement initiatives using digital tools and assist in automation and standardization to improve data quality and efficiency
- Handle additional responsibilities autonomously including hosting internal training sessions on accrual processes to ensure proper understanding and timely submission supporting regional requests (e.g. location strategy analysis efficiency gain analysis) and documenting and standardizing key processes by drafting SOPs for core team deliverables to drive consistency and scalability
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum 68 years experience in IT Finance / FP&A preferably in the insurance or banking sector
- Bachelors degree in Finance Accounting Business Administration or a related discipline
- CA CPA or equivalent professional qualification is an advantage
- Strong understanding of IT cost structures project accounting and CapEx vs. OpEx classification
Preferred Qualifications:
- Proficiency in key tools including:
- Microsoft PowerPoint (executive-level presentations)
- Microsoft Excel (advanced formulas pivot tables)
- Experience with Power BI or other data visualization tools is a plus
- Strong analytical organizational and attention-to-detail capabilities
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
