Job Summary
Our client a well acclaimed global law firm is hiring an Intellectual Property Associate to join its Hong Kong IP practice.
This role is primarily focused on trademark-related work with exposure to broader non-contentious and contentious IP matters.
Key responsibilities:
- Advising clients on trademark prosecution registration and portfolio management
- Assisting with IP enforcement and anti-counterfeiting matters
- Drafting and negotiating IP-related agreements and licences
- Supporting contentious IP matters including disputes and litigation
- Advising on copyright product design and other IP-related issues
Requirements:
- 14 years PQE admitted in Hong Kong or a common law jurisdiction
- Bilingual fluency in English and Chinese Mandarin is essential
- Prior experience in an IP or IP-focused practice group
- Strong academic background
- Detail-oriented with good drafting and communication skills
- Ability to manage a portfolio of matters with limited supervision
