Data Governance Specialist

Our client is on an exciting journey to transform and digitalise our business and IT landscape. As part of this they are growing the Data & Technology team and looking for an experienced Data Governance Specialist to shape and drive our firm-wide Data Governance framework.

What youll do:

• Own and manage the organisations Data Governance framework and policies

• Lead data governance practices: ownership stewardship classification protection access controls

• Operate and support the data governance committee influencing senior stakeholders

• Drive adoption of governance processes tools and SOPs across the business

• Implement governance technologies (metadata data quality MDM reference data management)

What you bring:

• 5 years experience in data governance / data management (enterprise environment preferred)

• Proven track record implementing data governance frameworks in complex organisations

• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills

• Experience with governance tools (e.g. Collibra Informatica Alation IBM IGC etc.)

• Knowledge of unstructured data management and AI governance is a plus

• Background in Financial Services highly desirable

12-month contract renewable
