Chemist (Inorganic)

• Conduct routine chemical tests according to standard operating procedures including but not limited to sample weighing and performing extraction/ digestion column cleanup rotary evaporation etc.

• Assist sample cutting and result reporting.

• Perform data analysis and result calculation and assist chemical result review.

• Operate the analytical instruments (-OES / ICP-MS AASXRF)

• Conduct equipment maintenance and calibration.

• Record and maintain the test data in the required format accurately.

• Handle chemicals solvents acids and reagents safety. Maintain work safe environment.

• Assist to perform method validation and prepare accreditation audit.

Qualifications :

• Knowledge of ISO 17025 quality system and accreditation requirements.

• Familiar with toy consumer products or food contact article safety standards/requirements in various countries

• Good communication and analytical skills.

• Able to operate the test instrument e.g. ICP-OES / ICP-MS AASXRF

• 1-2 years working experience in a testing laboratory.

• Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese.

• Analytical mind and logical thinking.

• Initiative organized and able to work independently.
