About the Role
As an Assistant Technical Manager you will be responsible for operations maintenance and troubleshooting of all hotel equipment and facilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Be responsible for operations maintenance and troubleshooting of all Hotel equipment and facilities including electrical mechanical plumbing fire safety and minor building works
- Performthe Maintenance Work Order
- Conduct regular testings inspections and troubleshootings of Hotel electrical and mechanical equipment to ensure theoperation arein accordance with acceptable engineering standards to achieve optimum operating efficiency
- Conduct inspections on all operating equipment and machineries; and report any abnormalities
- Closely monitorthe performance of all service maintenance contractors
- Distributerepair work orders to appropriate technicians/contractors
- Follow-up and checkreasons of outstanding repair work orders
- Consolidatesuggestions for the improvement of the system
About You
- Diploma / Certificate in Building Services Engineering or equivalent
- Minimum5 years of experience in repairingand maintenance of Hotel equipment and facilities; preferably minimum of 2 years as a Maintenance Supervisor
- Holder of Certificate of Registration of Electrical Worker A
- Experience in the Hotel Industry would be an advantage
- Knowledge in Hotel equipment and facilities preventive maintenance fire safety & hotel operations
