Assistant Manager – IT Platform Engineering (RefI)

Responsibilities

• Lead the team to plan design and implement the IT Systems across the On-premises Data Centres and Public Cloud infrastructure
• Manage and implement the infrastructure for different project teams
• Participate in various projects providing systems support and maintenance as well as liaising with users and working with contractors and vendors on technical works
• Manage daily support and maintenance of the Cloud infrastructure to achieve the Service Level Agreement of the applications
• Support the enhancement works and performance tuning for the Cloud A.I. and Data Analytic Platform
  

Requirements

• Degree in Computing / Information Systems or a related discipline
• A minimum of 5 years IT experience of which at least 2 years in Cloud infrastructure management
• Possession of Cloud related professional certifications is an advantage
• Solid technical skills and hands-on experience on Cloud technology and Microservice Architecture including the following:
  • Multi Cloud Infrastructure
  • Microservice Architecture (e.g. K8S)
  • A.I. and Data Analytics Platform
  • PostgreSQL and NoSQL Database
  • Data Visualization Tools
  • DevOps
• Strong analytical problem solving interpersonal and communication skills in both written and spoken English
