Accounting Supervisor (Payroll) (Ref 260000G9)

Responsibilities

• Handle full spectrum of payroll payment functions including part-time employees PRC secondees and subsidiaries payroll
• Support the administration of payroll processes and data checking for the payroll office including monthly allowance claims tax returns non-recurring pay and deductions.
• Provide accounting and financial support to the Payroll Office of the Finance Function
• Liaise and coordinate with HR business partners and handle staff inquiries
• Assist in Human Resources Management System (HRMS) or related system enhancement projects and user acceptance tests
• Assist with other ad hoc projects or duties as assigned

Requirements

• Grade E / Level 2 / Attained or above in 5 subjects of HKCEE / HKDSE including English and Chinese Languages and Mathematics preferably with post-secondary education in Accountancy / Human Resources Management or a related discipline
• A minimum of 5 years relevant experience
• Knowledge of Inland Revenue Ordinance Employment Ordinance and other relevant statutory requirements
• Hands-on experience in PeopleSoft Payroll System and Oracle Financial System
• Detail-oriented with good numerical sense and proactive attitude
• Good change management skills and ability to work independently under pressure
• Strong awareness and sensitivity on handling confidential information and payroll matters
