2027 Graduate Trader (DV Equities)

Since spinning out of a large brokerage firm in 2016DVTrading has rapidly scaled as an independent proprietary trading firm utilizing its own capital trading strategies and risk management methodologies to provide liquidity to worldwide financial markets and hedging opportunities to commodity producers and users. NowDVgroup affiliates include two broker dealers a cryptocurrency market making firm and a bourgeoning investment adviser.

Responsibilities:

• Work closely with senior traders to learn about proprietary methodologies and trading systems
• Real-time risk management in the form of trade entry and risk layoffs
• Build maintain and improve trading models
• Enhance existing strategies and identify and new opportunities
• Liaise between the trading desk internal teams and OTC relationships
• Additional responsibilities may be driven by the individuals interests and skills

Requirements:

• Currently pursuing a bachelors degree in mathematics statistics economics computer science or a related field and expected to graduate by Summer 2027
• Strong foundation in math probability and statistics
• Demonstrated ability to learn quickly and perform in a fast-paced high-pressure environment
• Ability to maintain composure and communicate clearly under pressure
• High level of proficiency in Excel and VBA
• Experience with SQL statistical modeling Python or other programming experience is preferred
• Exceptional problem-solving ability and multitasking skills
