- Coordinate Better Work Jordan’s intervention to build the capacity of employer institutions, individual enterprises, and selected Business Development Service providers to promote decent working conditions and productivity enhancements at the enterprise level –including in Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs)- and to improve the sector’s competitiveness.
- Maintain close cooperation and coordination with the Syndicate of Garments and Textile Factory Owners, the Jordan Garments, Accessories and Textiles Exporters’ Association (JGATE), the Jordan Chamber of Industry (JCI), Irbid Chamber of Industry, Zarqa Chamber of Industry, Amman Chamber of Industry, as well as relevant stakeholders to strengthen their capacity in the planning and implementation of the activities related to this intervention, including developing a workplan in relation to the existing MoU, and updating and revisiting the MoU when it expires.
- Maintain close cooperation, ensure regular communication with top and middle management in factories and, according to needs, conduct training targeting relevant staff in factories.
- Conduct Training of Trainers activities for JCI, JGATE and other business intermediary association staff, as appropriate, in order to build local capacity in national institutions for delivering relevant training services for the sector.
