PHP Wordpress Developer

Job Responsibilities:

• Manage technical/design updates to Wordpress websites.
• Act as a super-user on a WordPress website.
• Work with the marketing team to improve Search Engine Optimization (SEO) on all company websites
• Process website back-ups, theme, and plugin updates, to ensure that the coding on all websites remains secure and up to date with the latest security threats.
• Guide the development of new WordPress features and systems that will add value to the web offering.
• Offer website technical support to both the IT and marketing departments
• Develop new pages with content and graphics supplied by the marketing team
• Keep a changelog record of updates of the company
• Develop stability improvements for the website services
• Design and develop all required databases in MySQL.
• Design & Develop APIs & RESTful services.

Job Requirements

• 2-3 years of experience as a PHP back-end Developer.
• Good Knowledge of Search Engine Optimization.
• Dev-Op experience is preferred
• Excellent understanding of wordpress is a MUST.
• In-depth understanding of the entire web development process (design, development and deployment).
• Good understanding of Front-end and Back-end communication ajax, JQuery, VueJS, React or any other JS frameworks.
• Familiar with deploying projects to live servers
