About the role
The Digital Divisionoperatesmaintainsand deliversdigital capabilities to ensure AEMO fulfills its obligations across alljurisdictionsand markets in whichweoperate. This includes strategic technology foresight and plans delivery of digital change operation of critical infrastructure key internal stakeholder engagement operation ofall ofAEMOs IT applications and services.
You will be involved inthe planningexecutionand delivery of testing across multiple projects. This role requiresFunctional Automation and Performance testing skills to perform the role of a trusted quality assurance analyst and a subject matter expert on testing requirements test planning testexecutionand results management.
To be eligible for this role you must an Australian citizenand holda minimum Baseline clearance with AGSVA orbe eligible to apply.
This is a fixed term 12-month contract.
What you will be doing
- Create andmaintainautomated test scripts using tools like Selenium or Playwright.
- Execute automated tests and analyse results to ensure quality.
- Create Test plan develop Test Scripts Test cases and execute them.
- Analyse requirements and system changes design and execute tests that aim to minimise risks and achieve the highest levels of quality assurance and reliability.
- Identify document and triage defects using tools such asJIRAPractiTestorequivalent.
What you will bring to the role
- Energy sector experienceis preferred with strong functional and automation testing experience.
- PlayWrightwith c# essentialandReqnRollandGlucodewill be highlyregarded.
- Strong knowledge of API testing using tools like PostmanandSwagger/Scalarandperformance testing and monitoring tools such as LoadRunner.
- Strong Understanding on SDLC and STLC processes.
- Demonstrated understanding of the software development process including requirement gathering analysis/design development tools/technologies release/version control contemporary testingmethodologiesand deployment management.
