About the Opportunity

As the Senior Naval Architect for Austal Defence Australia (ADA) youll be responsible for providing and supporting the design of a vessel from concept through the delivery on time and on budget.

Whats Involved

• Produce accurate information and documentation which meets all procedural and auditable requirements
• Ensure work deadlines are met and construction deliverables are not compromised or missed
• Effectively and efficiently communicate through drawings verbal and written means to all necessary parties
• Consistently exhibits a proactive attitude towards innovation and improvement and actively seeks alternate methods of performing tasks

Youll Need

• Bachelor of Engineering Naval Architecture
• Advanced AutoCAD skills
• A solid understanding of Production methods and practical application of design
• Knowledge of regulatory body Rules and Regulation requirements
• 5 years experience in a similar position
• Eligibility for a Defence Security Clearance
