We act for the roleThe Senior (State) Manager - Programs is responsible for the strategic and operational management of a portfolio of state/territory-wide programs that support: 1) the participation and inclusion of migrants in transition (aligned with the migration sub-strategy) 2) individual and community resilience preparedness response and recovery (aligned with the emergency services sub-strategy) and 3) delivery of strategically aligned community programs as required. This role includes direct and indirect leadership across a geographically dispersed workforce of staff and Senior Manager is responsible for brokering local regional and state/territory sector community and government collaborations and partnerships to advance Red Cross strategic and revenue generation objectivesDay to day you will:Ensure programs are designed and delivered to meet full compliance with contractual legislative and quality standards trends gaps and opportunities at the local regional and state/territory level aligned to our migration and emergency services on relevant local regional and state/territory committees networks meetings and forums and promotion of Red Cross servicesDevelop program budgets and maintain comprehensive knowledge of the financial performance to ensure budget and revenue parameters are metWhat you will bringSubstantial experience managing scalable programs and activities across geographic boundaries.
