Whats the role

Youll join our Non-Financial Risk team supporting the Consumer Division and Enterprise Functions helping the business navigate compliance in a practical and forward-looking way. This is a permanent role based in Sydney Melbourne or Adelaide working in a collaborative enterprise environment.

Day to day youll act as a trusted advisor across the business by providing clear pragmatic compliance guidance on projects regulatory change and day-to-day operations. Youll partner closely with stakeholders to understand how the business runs identify risks and help shape solutions that work in practice.

Youll also play a key role in monitoring the control environment assessing incidents and supporting remediation while contributing to a strong and consistent compliance approach across the division.

This is a role where youll balance independence with partnership bringing a forward-thinking mindset strong judgement and a genuine focus on better outcomes for customers and the business.

What do I need

Youll bring a practical solutions-focused approach to compliance with the ability to build trusted relationships across the business.

Youll have:

  • Strong experience working in compliance or risk environments within banking or financial services.
  • Confidence interpreting regulation and translating it into clear actionable advice.
  • Ability to assess incidents identify control gaps and support remediation efforts.
  • A collaborative mindset with the confidence to challenge and influence stakeholders.
  • High attention to detail with clear professional communication skills.
