The Project Scheduler will utilise a multiskilled in-house field workforce as well as subcontractors to achieve the successful delivery of all managed projects on a daily basis. This will be done through working in a consultative manner with other delivery stakeholders and support staff.
About the Role
The Project Scheduler will prepare in advance a daily schedule with available resources and pool of works dispatch workorders to field devices and communicate to crews and crew members.
You will be accountable for efficient utilisation of staff and plant to ensure limited to no down time. Staff schedules will need to be formulated with the consideration of fatigue management and applicable industrial relation legislation.
You will be required to follow-up/validate workorder completions employee timesheets and formulate costs of works completed for billings to client for previous days.
The Project Scheduler will be responsible for booking additional contractor resources to assist scheduled works such as traffic management.
The Project Scheduler will assist the delivery team in a local and regional capacity to undertake the planning and delivery of projects or parts of projects under contract for clients ensuring that time scope costs safety and quality objectives are met.
The Scheduler will proactively stay ahead of potential issues (eg. Delivery dates Material shortages resource constraints) whilst monitoring the productivity of the workforce.
