Your Role

As a Project Manager Land Cable & Civilsyoull play a key role in supporting the Cables Director and leading thedelivery of the land cable and civil works package across one of Australiasmost significant energy infrastructure projects. Youll manage projectplanning procurement contracts budgets risk and stakeholder engagementwhile ensuring safe efficient and high-quality project outcomes from designthrough to commissioning.

Youll:

  • Lead the planning delivery and ongoing management of the Land Cable & Civils package ensuring alignment with the overall project execution strategy.
  • Manage project schedules budgets procurement activities contracts and risk registers while driving performance across the full project lifecycle.
  • Coordinate with engineering procurement finance legal consultants OEM partners and contractors to deliver successful project outcomes.
  • Lead technical workshops and design reviews to optimise project delivery and resolve complex technical challenges.
  • Monitor project performance governance quality safety and regulatory compliance while providing regular reporting and project insights.
  • Support field activities along the cable route and collaborate across project workstreams to manage interfaces and mitigate project risks.
  • Champion a strong safety culture and promote continuous improvement across all project activities.

Youll Need

  • Tertiary qualifications in Engineering or a related discipline.
  • Demonstrated experience delivering major infrastructure or large-scale construction projects within complex stakeholder environments.
  • Project Management certification (AIPM PMI PRINCE2 or equivalent) and strong knowledge of project management methodologies and governance frameworks.
  • Proven experience managing contracts procurement project controls budgets and project risks across the delivery lifecycle.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement communication and influencing skills with the ability to work collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams.
  • Experience managing EPC-style contracts and working with consultants contractors and Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs).
  • Experience delivering EHV transmission cable projects or other major linear infrastructure projects will be highly regarded.
  • A high level of computer literacy including experience with project management scheduling document management and reporting systems.
