Your Opportunity
As our new Manager Inventory and Purchasing youll be accountable for end to end inventory and purchasing outcomes ensuring the right materials are available at the right time and cost to support safe and reliable aircraft operations.
Reporting to the Senior Manager Supply Chain and Logistics this role integrates inventory strategy demand planning purchasing execution financial control and supplier governance into a single point of accountability.
Through strong leadership system-enabled decision-making and disciplined process control the role optimises inventory investment and ensures alignment with operational and financial objectives.

- Financial Control Budgeting & Cost Optimisation
- Data Analytics & Performance Reporting

To be successful in this role ideally youll have:
- Tertiary qualifications in Supply Chain Logistics Engineering Business or a related discipline (preferred)
- Significant experience across aviation supply chain inventory management and purchasing functions including aircraft spares management and supplier governance
- Strong expertise in inventory optimisation demand analysis and purchasing of engineering goods and services
- Demonstrated experience in data analysis cost benefit analysis and developing or implementing analytical solutions
- Advanced analytical capability with a methodical and logical approach including strong proficiency in Excel MS Office and analytics tools (including optimisation through AI where applicable)
- Proficiency with TRAX digital tools and data analytics platforms
- Experience leading multidisciplinary teams within complex operational environments
- Strong commercial acumen contract interpretation and enterprise level decision making capability
- Strong stakeholder engagement with excellent written and verbal communication skills
- High attention to detail with the ability to meet deadlines and work effectively within policy driven environments
- Professional and ethical approach when engaging with suppliers and customers
