About the role

Suncorp is looking for an experienced Agility and Process Lead to support the Digital Insurer Transformation Office. This role will review refine and establish practical processes governance templates and ways of working that support teams from ideation discovery through to delivery.

You will work with business technology teams and leaders to create clear processes for how work flows from ideation into delivery reduce rework and improve delivery confidence across a large complex program environment. This is a hands-on role for someone who has built embedded and improved Lean-Agile practices end-to-end not only advised on them.

What youll do

• Lead the design and ongoing improvement of practical processes standards and governance that help work move from ideation and discovery into delivery with greater clarity.
• Partner with business technology delivery and risk teams to shape fit-for-purpose ways of working across a complex transformation program.
• Define clear entry and exit criteria delivery pathways and evidence-based commitments so delivery teams receive well-formed scope and reduce rework.
• Establish templates artefacts and reporting practices that support transparency decision making and delivery readiness.
• Support end-to-end traceability from business benefits requirements and design through to story-level delivery work including use of Jira and related tooling.
• Use metrics and delivery insights to improve flow predictability and early risk visibility for senior leaders and delivery teams.

What youll bring

• Proven hands-on experience in similar lean-agile operating model design roles across large programs and complex organisations.
• Strong experience applying end-to-end Agile delivery methods in practice with the ability to build and embed ways of working that teams can use every day.
• Experience working across scaled Agile and waterfall delivery environments with a strong understanding of program governance and delivery controls.
• Practical knowledge of delivery tooling such as Jira with experience supporting traceability reporting and delivery readiness.
• Highly developed communication skills with the ability to engage executive stakeholders influence decision making and translate complex concepts into practical outcomes.
• A collaborative and outcome-focused approach with the confidence to work through complexity ambiguity and changing priorities with team support.
• Practical experience with DevOps and feature toggling approaches to support iterative and incremental delivery across concurrent releases is highly desirable
