Full Stack engineer NextJS

Role: Full Stack Engineer AI Tooling DevSecOps

Key Responsibilities

• Design build and maintain full-stack applications using (App Router / Pages Router) and react with TypeScript across the full stack
• Author maintain and scale Playwright test suites covering E2E component and API layer testing with robust CI integration
• Embed DevSecOps practices across the SDLC: SAST/DAST container scanning dependency auditing secrets management and policy-as-code
• Build and maintain GitHub Actions pipelines including reusable workflows matrix strategies environment promotion gates and OIDC-based cloud auth
• Contribute to SRE disciplines: SLO/SLI/SLA definition alerting incident response runbooks observability (metrics traces logs) and chaos/resilience testing
• Actively use Claude Code and other AI coding assistants (Copilot Cursor etc.) for code generation test scaffolding PR reviews and documentation with the ability to craft effective prompts and evaluate AI outputs critically
• Collaborate with product design and platform teams in an agile/scrum delivery model
• Participate in architecture and design discussions; mentor junior engineers on best practices

Must-Have Skills & Experience Skill Area Requirements / React 7 yrs full stack exp; (App Router preferred); SSR/SSG/ISR patterns; TypeScript; Tailwind CSS or CSS Modules Test Automation Playwright (E2E component); test strategy design; CI-integrated test reporting; API testing; visual regression DevSecOps SAST/DAST tooling (Snyk Trivy SonarQube etc.); container security; IaC security scanning; secrets management (Vault/AWS Secrets) SRE SLO/SLI definition; observability stacks (OpenTelemetry Datadog Grafana etc.); on-call/incident response; runbooks GitHub Actions Workflow authoring; reusable workflows; OIDC auth; matrix builds; environment gates; ArgoCD/Flux integration preferred AI Coding Tools Hands-on Claude Code; Copilot/Cursor; prompt engineering for code gen; AI-assisted PR review & doc generation Cloud / Infra AWS Azure or GCP (any one); Kubernetes; Docker; Terraform/CDK preferred Eligibility Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident no sponsorship available for this role
