About the role
We are currently seeking a Senior Process Engineer to join our water and wastewater team at NSW Public Works. The water and wastewater team works across the water cycle and also across the project lifecycle. We deliver critical water supply and sewerage infrastructure in Regional NSW that helps sustain and grow regional communities.
About you
To be successful in this role our ideal candidate will be a Chemical or Civil engineer and have the following:
- Knowledge and experience in the design and operation of full-scale water and/or sewage treatment processes including process modelling software. Knowledge of different treatment process technologies is essential.
- More than 10 years demonstrated post-graduate experience in investigation design and commissioning of new water and/or wastewater treatment plants and upgrading of existing plants.
- Manage monitor and report on project progress contributing to the teams budget and financial performance.
- Maintain the safety culture within the team which is focused on implementation of the NSW Public Works Safety Management System and processes to meet legislative and safety certification requirements.
- A valid NSW Drivers license and willingness to drive to remote locations which may include overnight stays.
- Membership with Engineers Australia would be highly regarded.
