Baker Bakers Delight Nepean Square

Bakers Delight Nepean Square is looking for a passionate and experienced Baker to join our team. If you enjoy working in a fast-paced bakery environment and take pride in producing high-quality baked goods wed love to hear from you.

About the Role:

You will be responsible for preparing and baking a wide range of breads and bakery products ensuring consistency quality and presentation in line with Bakers Delight standards.

Preparing and baking breads rolls and specialty products according to standard recipes
Measuring mixing kneading and shaping dough to required specifications
Monitoring proofing oven temperatures and baking times for optimal results
Maintaining product quality consistency and presentation standards
Managing daily production schedules to meet customer demand
Ensuring compliance with food safety hygiene and workplace health standards
Assisting with stock control ordering ingredients and checking deliveries
Cleaning and maintaining bakery equipment and work areas
Supporting and training junior staff when required

Requirements

Relevant baking qualification or equivalent industry experience

Minimum 23 years experience in a similar bakery environment

Strong knowledge of baking techniques and dough preparation

Ability to work early mornings weekends and in a fast-paced setting

Good teamwork and communication skills

Commitment to maintaining high food safety and hygiene standards

Required Skills:

Certificate III in Baking or equivalent qualification or relevant industry experience. Previous experience working in a commercial or retail bakery environment. Sound knowledge of bread production techniques and baking processes. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining quality standards. Reliable punctual and able to work early morning shifts. Availability to work weekends and public holidays as required.
