Job Summary
Corryong Family Bakery is seeking a dedicated and experienced Baker to join our friendly local team. This role is suitable for someone who is passionate about traditional baking and committed to producing fresh consistent and high-quality products for the community.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and bake breads rolls buns scrolls and other bakery products.
- Measure mix knead scale mould and shape dough according to recipes.
- Manage fermentation proofing oven temperatures and baking times.
- Follow daily production schedules and ensure products are available on time.
- Finish bakery products with glazes icings toppings and other decorations.
- Check ingredients and finished products for quality and freshness.
- Maintain stock levels and store ingredients correctly.
- Follow food safety hygiene and occupational health and safety requirements.
- Clean and sanitise bakery equipment utensils and work areas.
- Support junior team members and contribute to an efficient production environment.
Requirements
About You
- Relevant baking qualification or equivalent experience.
- At least two years of relevant experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of dough preparation proofing and oven management.
- Ability to work early mornings and weekends.
- Excellent time-management and teamwork skills.
- Reliable hardworking and committed to maintaining high standards.

Required Skills:
Certificate III in Baking or equivalent qualification or relevant industry experience. Previous experience working in a commercial or retail bakery environment. Sound knowledge of bread production techniques and baking processes. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining quality standards. Reliable punctual and able to work early morning shifts. Availability to work weekends and public holidays as required.
