The role is responsible for managing and assisting with the transformation of QBE AUSPACs incidents and breach reporting processes.

The opportunity

This role plays a key part in strengthening QBE AUSPACs incident and breach reporting capability ensuring high-quality regulator-ready outcomes.Youllwork closely with stakeholders across the business to drive consistent defensible compliance practices and support ongoing transformation in breach management.

Your new role

Reporting to the Head of Regulatory Breach Reportingyoulllead day-to-day breach management activities whileleadingthetransformation anduplift of processescontrolsand reporting. This is a hands-on role with real influencebalancing technicalexpertise stakeholderengagementand continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities:

  • Oversee end-to-end breach management from identification and investigation through to escalation and regulatory reporting

  • Deliver clear well-supported breach assessments that are consistentdefensibleand regulator-ready

  • Provide insights on incidents and breachesidentifyingroot causes and systemic improvement opportunities

  • Support senior management reporting with clear analysistrendsand actionable recommendations

  • Drive improvements to breach management processes including automation and data-led enhancements

  • Partner with stakeholders across Line 1 Line2and the business as a trusted adviser to uplift compliance outcomes

About you

Werelooking for a commercially minded compliance professional who canoperateconfidently in a fast-paced high-accountability environment.Youllbring strong technicalexpertise soundjudgementand the ability to translate regulatory requirements into practical business-focused outcomes.

Key requirements:

  • 710 years experience in compliance and/or breach reporting within financial services (ideally insurance)

  • Strong understanding of Australian regulatory frameworks (ASIC APRA OAIC CGC)

  • Proven ability to deliver high-quality regulator-ready outputs with minimal rework

  • Strong analytical and investigation skills with the ability to form clear evidence-based conclusions

  • Demonstrated stakeholder engagement and influencing capability at senior levels

  • High commercial acumen with the ability to translate regulation into practical solutions
