About the role
As an Account Manager you will work across both food and beverage manufacturing and animal health environments supporting customers across Queensland. This is a hybrid role combining account management technical service and business development where you will partner with customers to improve food safety hygiene standards operational efficiency and overall site performance.
You will act as a trusted advisor delivering tailored cleaning and sanitising solutions while also supporting agricultural customers such as dairy and poultry operations. The role requires a hands-on approach balancing technical service delivery with commercial growth across your territory.
In this role you will:
- Manage and grow a portfolio of customers across food processing manufacturing and agricultural sectors
- Build strong relationships with site leaders and key decision-makers to drive retention and account growth
- Deliver tailored hygiene cleaning and sanitisation programs aligned to customer needs
- Conduct on-site testing audits and inspections to identify risks and improvements
- Provide technical troubleshooting and support across equipment and product usage
- Identify and execute new business development opportunities within existing and new accounts
- Work closely with distributors and internal teams to deliver effective customer outcomes
- Analyse performance metrics and lead regular business reviews with customers
- Take a hands-on approach at customer sites to deliver value-added service and project outcomes
About you
- Experience in sales account management or operations within food beverage agriculture or related industries
- Strong technical or mechanical aptitude with the ability to understand and troubleshoot equipment and processes
- Proven ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels
- Commercial mindset with the ability to identify and convert growth opportunities
- Excellent communication organisation and problem-solving skills
- Self-motivated with the ability to work autonomously and manage a territory
- Comfortable working in both production and farm environments
- Valid drivers licence and willingness to travel including occasional overnight stays
