Responsibilities:

  • Manage and optimize product listings on various online marketplaces.
  • Develop and implement strategies to increase sales and profitability on all marketplaces.
  • Liaise with internal departments (such as marketing and sales) to ensure product listings are attractive and competitive.
  • Monitor and analyze marketplace metrics to identify trends and sales opportunities.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to develop promotional strategies tailored to the marketplace.
  • Coordinate with customer service teams to ensure excellent customer experiences
  • Stay uptodate with industry trends and competitor activities
  • Ensure compliance with marketplace policies and regulations
  • Forecast and track sales trends and profits within the channel selected.
  • Develop and manage marketplace budgets and goals with a deep understanding of budgeting.
  • Provide regular reports on marketplace performance to senior management highlighting metrics.
  • Coordinate with inventory teams to ensure adequate product supply for company platforms.
  • Identify new marketplace opportunities and platforms for expansion especially within the business sector.
  • Manage any escalations related to marketplace operations focusing on effective issue resolution.

Essential skills and qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Business Marketing or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in online marketplace management.
  • Strong knowledge of the ride hailing industry and its best practices.
  • Proven experience in increasing sales on online marketplaces.
  • Strong analytical and forecasting skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Exceptional negotiation and relationship management skills especially for vendor management.
  • Ability to work in a fastpaced crossfunctional team environment.
  • Problemsolving aptitude and ability to handle escalations effectively.
