What youll be doing as Director of Sales:

Collaborate with the General Manager and Regional Director of Sales & Marketing to develop a marketing plan targeting market niches and segments.
Monitor and review sales production adjusting activities and priorities to achieve goals.
Establish account qualification criteria and use market research to identify and prioritize accounts.
Maintain responsibility for selected key accounts.
Ensure frequent and open communication between the Regional Director of Sales & Marketing and properties.
Set up and oversee a sales administration system for portfolio and database management.
Optimize room utilization by assessing demand and supply.
Lead manage and motivate a team of sales professionals to achieve budgeted sales.
Establish team sales goals and allocate key accounts to team members.
Direct the sales team in achieving annual business targets representing the hotel in external sales presentations and negotiating contracts with customers and vendors.

What were looking for:

Proven Sales experience in the hospitality industry with knowledge of the Saudi Arabia market.
Prior experience gained from working in hotel/serviced apartment market.
Demonstrated ability to manage own and others tasks through to conclusion.
Resourceful and able to think creatively.
Literacy in software applications preferably in travel and hospitality operating software.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Ability to manage a range of activities simultaneously.
Ability to drive for results and motivate others to achieve their potential.
Competency in Microsoft applications (Word Excel Power Point) and hotel property management systems (HIS or similar).
High proficiency in English language oral and written skills
Effective problemsolving skills.
Ability to work to deadlines and maintain composure at all times.
A passion for excellence.
