Job Summary:

Why this role matters:

As Tech Operations Engineer you will play a key role in maintaining the stability and performance of our tech infrastructure. You will triage and coordinate incoming requests and incidents ensuring seamless communication across teams and vendors. Your contributions will help shape operations support across our Fintech platforms and ultimately the way we disrupt the market.

What success looks like:

In your first year you will establish reliable incident management processes reduce resolution times for critical issues and play a major role in building operational knowledge bases and escalation procedures. You will also improve SLA compliance by enhancing cross-team coordination and reporting functions.

Key Responsibilities

In this role you will:

  • Lead issue triage and prioritization ensuring timely routing to appropriate internal or vendor teams.
  • Collaborate with internal teams such as Customer Support Product and Engineering driving fast reliable issue resolution.
  • Manage incident documentation and ticket flows ensuring SLA compliance and transparency.
  • Monitor and respond to ticket queues escalating issues when necessary according to defined protocols.
  • Coordinate change implementation by validating readiness and communicating deployment impacts.
  • Drive reporting and analytics on incident trends SLA breaches and operational insights.
  • Assist in developing internal knowledge resources recovery playbooks and response procedures.
  • Provide on-call support for critical systems and ensure clear communication during outages or service interruptions.

Qualifications & Attributes

Were seeking someone who embodies the following:

  • Education:
  • Bachelors in computer science Information Systems or equivalent.
  • Experience:
  • Minimum 1 year in a tech operations or similar role ideally within fintech or other regulated industries.

Technical Skills:
Must-haves:

  • Hands-on experience with Linux and Windows servers.
  • Familiarity with SQL and/or Postgres for issue investigation.
  • Understanding of networking principles load balancing and security best practices.
  • Experience with ticketing systems like Jira and incident response workflows.

Nice-to-haves:

  • Familiarity with cloud-based platforms.
  • Exposure to IP networks and system monitoring tools.

  • Possesses a proactive mindset and strong attention to detail; able to juggle multiple priorities effectively.
