Description

Job Summary:

If you are a resultsdriven sales professional looking for a dynamic opportunity we invite you to join Emerson Discrete Automation for the Middle East & Africa region. This role based in Yanbu City Saudi Arabia will focus on driving growth for key brands including Controls & Software ASCO AVENTICS TOPWORX TESCOM and Anderson Greenwood Instrument reporting directly to the Regional Sales Manager (Saudi Arabia & Bahrain).

In This Role Your Responsibilities Will Be:

  1. Sales & Business Development:
  • Drive direct sales within the assigned territories.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with existing and potential customers.
  • Actively engage with key accounts to ensure happiness and business growth.
  1. Customer Engagement & Market Expansion:
  • Follow up with customers to ensure products solutions and services meet their expectations.
  • Complete strategic plans to increase market potential and achieve sales targets.
  • Proactively respond to RFQs POs and contracts ensuring timely deliveries in coordination with Customer Service.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of market trends and competitor activity providing insights and solutions to management.
  • Support and manage local distributors ensuring they receive the vital technical and commercial assistance.
  1. Strategic Collaboration & Solution Selling:
  • Work closely with Regional Sales and Business Development Managers to use business opportunities.
  • Support targeted project pursuits by collaborating with BDMs and GP3 Sales teams.
  • Cooperate with other Emerson Business Units (e.g. SWD STO LSTA) to enhance crossfunctional alignments.
  • Focus on beneficial solutions including customized panels control cabinets and automation solutions to optimize project cost safety and reliability.
  • Provide expert technical support in pneumatics (fluid power & control) Machinery Automation PLC Automation and SCADA systems.
  1. Customer Engagement & Representation:
  • Build and maintain executivelevel relationships with strategic customers and decisionmakers.
  • Participate in trade shows exhibitions and seminarseither independently or alongside local distributors.
  • Represent Emerson in a professional manner ensuring adherence to legal and ethical standards.
  • Deliver sales and technical presentations to internal and external partners.
  1. Operational Excellence & Compliance:
  • Supervise product pricing and commercial negotiations with customers.
  • Ensure due diligence and legal compliance when engaging new distributors or resellers.
  • Uphold workplace safety standards including the accurate use of personal protective equipment (PPE) where required.
  • Adhere to Health Safety & Environment policies as laid by the organization.

Who you are

  • Strong background in pneumatics automation solutions PLCs and SCADA.
  • Proficient in Arabic and English (spoken and written).
  • Intuition For Business: Strong system solutions selling skills and experience managing strategic customer relationships.

For this Role You Will Need:

  • Bachelors degree in engineering (Instrumentation & Control Mechanical or related field) with deep knowledge of pneumatics and PLCs.
  • Minimum 5 years in Sales & Business Development preferably with experience working with OEMs EPCs and System Integrators

Preferred qualifications:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Sales Force ERP/CRM.
  • Proactive & Independent: Ability to work with minimal direction and adapt to a fastpaced environment.
  • Mobility: Valid driving license with willingness to travel 50 across Saudi Arabia & maybe Bahrain if required).
