Fargo Country Club is actively recruiting Agronomy Interns for the 2026 golf season. Our internship development program continues to grow stronger each year built on a foundation of on-the-job teaching in-field training and professional development.
Interns will work closely with our Superintendents to become proficient in daily course preparation agronomic and cultural practices irrigation maintenance chemical/fertilizer calibration and application water management equipment setup and maintenance detailed record keeping/inventory and other tasks as assigned.
Interns will be cross trained in all facets of golf course maintenance and operations including in-house construction projects with the director of grounds. This is a tremendous learning opportunity for those striving to grow personally and professionally in the turf industry.
Interns will attend weekly meetings with the Director of Grounds Golf Course Superintendent and other members of our turf team to discuss and understand the decisions we make daily review all cultural and maintenance practices examine our pesticide program and why we are applying the products as well as the importance of communication with the Equipment & Shop Manager when it comes to equipment usage.
Interns will learn basic agronomics working with the superintendent and turf team in place as well as spend time with the director of grounds working on inhouse construction projects.
Schedule:
Sixâday workweek with overtime available (MondayFriday plus one weekend day)
Early morning shifts: 4:45 AM 12:00 PM
Will work closely with the Assistant Superintendent and Superintendent as part of the agronomy team
