Job Summary

Qualifications:

  1. Hold a bachelors degree in Information Technology Computer Science Information Systems or equivalent experience.
  2. Have 3 years administering Google Workspace for Education and ChromeOS/Chromebooks in a K12 environment.
  3. Have hands-on experience with:
    1. Google Admin Console (security device management Vault DLP)
    2. Gopher for Google (bulk operations reporting)
    3. Little SIS for Google (SIS-to-Classroom sync terms troubleshooting)
    4. Clever and/or ClassLink (rostering SSO data governance)
    5. Gaggle (policy setup escalation workflows)
  4. Demonstrate proficiency with directory services SAML/OAuth API usage and CSV-based data exchanges.
  5. Have experience with scripting/automation in at least one language or framework (e.g. Apps Script PowerShell Python GAM).
  6. Demonstrate excellent documentation communication and customer service skills.
  7. Protect the confidentiality of records and information gained as part of exercising professional duties and use discretion in sharing such information within legal confines.
  8. Promote a close working relationship with Assistant Superintendents for Schools and Academies School Leadership Teams and the Director of Google certifications (e.g. Google Workspace Administrator ChromeOS Administrator or Educator/Trainer).
  9. Possess the ability to provide clear communication with technical and non-technical audiences.
  10. Collaborate with Stakeholders including Instructional Technology Curriculum and Student Services.
  11. Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills including the ability to make presentations.
  12. Perform such other job responsibilities as may be assigned by the Director of Business Applications.
  13. Provide proof of U.S. citizenship or legal resident alien status by completing Federal Form I-9 in compliance with the Immigration Reform and Control Act of 1986.
  14. Provide evidence that a criminal record history check has been conducted and The Department of Education has given clearance. During the initial six-month period provide a sworn statement that there have not been any convictions of a crime or a disorderly persons offense in accordance with 18A:6-7. l.
  15. Provide evidence that health is adequate to fulfill the job functions and responsibilities with reasonable accommodation pursuant to 42 U.S.C. 12101 and in accordance with N.J.A.C. 6:3-4A.4.
  16. Pass the state-required Mantoux Intradermal Tuberculin Test as required by N.J.A.C. 6:3-4A.4.
