Job Summary
The salary range for this position is $60000.00- $70000.00 depending on experience and a 10% bonus opportunity.

This position is a hybrid position required 3 days in office in our Aurora Colorado location.
This is how you WOW:
- Preparing and filing timely tax returns for a given segment of the business to the proper taxing authorities for property tax multi-state income/franchise taxes sales/use taxes GST/VAT taxes and gross receipts
- Performing duties related to the issuances and renewals of business licenses and updating all secretary of state filings
- Validating and processing exemption certificates for all tax exempt entities with the ability to understand and support the determination of proper taxability of products and services sold to customers
- Working with external and internal customers in a collaborativee approach to establish and maintain good working relationships
- Responding to tax jurisdiction notices and inquiries.
- Assisting and supporting with tax audits
- Special project work as needed
It would be WOW if you would bring this in:
- Bachelors degree in accounting or finance required
- 2 years relevant experience in tax research tax return preparation auditing or filing sales and use tax returns.
- The ability to exercise considerable judgement in tax issues and filings
- Working knowledge of Exemption Certificate Management systems
- Working knowledge of sales and use taxation
- Working knowledge of SAP and manufacturing industry a plus
- Working knowledge of Avalara is a plus
