Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Actuarial Analyst with 5-8 years of experience in the insurance industry to support actuarial analysis pricing reserving forecasting and risk management initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical and statistical skills along with hands-on experience in actuarial modeling data analysis and programming using SQL and Python/R. This role requires close collaboration with actuarial finance and business teams to deliver data-driven insights that support strategic decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
Analyze statistical financial and insurance data to support pricing reserving forecasting and risk management activities.
Develop validate and maintain actuarial models for insurance products.
Perform actuarial calculations and provide recommendations based on quantitative analysis.
Utilize SQL Python or R to extract manipulate and analyze large datasets.
Prepare reports dashboards and presentations to communicate actuarial findings and business insights.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including underwriting finance claims and risk management.
Support regulatory reporting and ensure compliance with applicable insurance regulations.
Identify trends assess risk exposures and recommend strategies for improving business performance.
Participate in model validation testing and continuous process improvements.

Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex data and communicate findings effectively.
Experience working in Agile or cross-functional project environments is an added advantage.
