JOB SUMMARY

The Senior Account Coordinator plays a critical role in supporting key customer accounts by coordinating projects managing schedules and ensuring exceptional customer service throughout the project lifecycle. This position works closely with customers builders sales production purchasing installation logistics warranty and other internal teams to support accurate project execution and operational efficiency. Success in this role means customer accounts are managed proactively projects remain on schedule documentation is accurate and issues are resolved quickly to support a positive customer experience. This role requires strong organizational skills industry knowledge attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers builders vendors and internal teams to support exceptional customer service and long-term partnerships.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned and high-volume customer accounts ensuring timely communication and issue resolution.
  • Coordinate project documentation including job files work orders schedules proposals contracts change orders and related records.
  • Monitor installation schedules and project progress to support timely completion and customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with Sales Production Purchasing Logistics Installation Warranty and other departments to ensure successful project execution.
  • Support onboarding of new builder accounts and coordinate large or complex projects.
  • Communicate product information installation requirements scheduling updates and warranty processes to customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Resolve customer concerns scheduling conflicts and operational issues while escalating complex matters as appropriate.
  • Maintain accurate customer records pricing information order history and project documentation within company systems.
  • Identify opportunities to improve account coordination processes workflow efficiency and customer service.
  • Provide guidance training and day-to-day support to new or less experienced Account Coordinators.
  • Prioritize multiple projects while meeting deadlines and maintaining a high level of accuracy.
  • Follow company policies and procedures.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Requirements

EDUCATION EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS

Required Qualifications:

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 3 years of account coordination customer service project coordination or related experience.
  • Strong customer service communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Experience coordinating multiple projects priorities and stakeholders simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and the ability to learn company software systems.
  • Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in flooring construction homebuilding or related industries.
  • Knowledge of flooring products installation processes and industry standards.
  • Experience supporting builder or multifamily accounts.
  • Experience training or mentoring team members.

  • Positioning: May occasionally be required to bend stoop kneel crouch or reach while handling files or materials.
  • Manual Dexterity: Frequently operates a computer and other office equipment.
  • Communication: Ability to effectively communicate and exchange accurate information with customers vendors builders and internal teams.
  • Vision: Ability to review contracts project documentation schedules pricing and customer information with accuracy.
