About the Role:
Charters Emerging Technology Group is seeking a well-rounded Software Engineer to help build next-generation cloud-based platforms and strategic solutions for ISP technology. This role will focus on billing mediation invoice generation data usage processing backend APIs user interface development and AWS cloud-based application delivery.

The engineer will work with software architects network engineers data scientists billing experts mediation engineers QA teams technical operators product owners and other cross-functional teams to design and deliver scalable software solutions in a fast-paced environment.

Required Skills:

• 5 years of software engineering experience
• 5 years of experience with Billing Systems including post-paid and pre-paid billing
• Experience with Mediation Systems
• Strong Python development experience
• Strong TypeScript development experience
• and Express development experience
• Backend API development experience using Java and JavaScript
• AWS cloud services experience including Lambda EKS ECS API Gateway Cognito and CDK
• Experience with Terraform and/or CloudFormation
• SQL database administration and relational database experience
• PostgreSQL and Redis experience
• Docker containers and microservices architecture
• Git-based source control experience
• Strong understanding of high-volume real-time processing systems
• Unix/Linux working knowledge
• Agile software delivery experience
• Strong troubleshooting analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and documentation skills
