Job Summary

The key to this hire is finding someone who has heavy Programming experience and knows how to run a production environment and can train more junior staff.

Right now the job requires onsite work; in the future in can be a hybrid/remote. The person could even move away once fully ramped up and live wherever they want.

This person will specialize in automated conveyors programming. They will not do the testing as that will fall to others.

****The trick is finding someone who is okay living here for at least a year who has the production mentality training ability and hands-on programming.

Responsibilities

  • Program PLC based systems across multiple platforms.
  • Advance programming experience with AB/Rockwell software using compact/control Logix platform PLCS using studio designer 5000/RSLOGIX 500 Beckhoff controls programming with TWINCAT 2 & 3 and familiar with SIEMENS C/C#/python/visual studio/SQL database programming
  • Designing industrial HMI/OIT Panels with panel view plus OI panels using factory talk view studio (SE and ME) windows CE basic networking experience with Wonderware indusoft and 3rdparty HMI programs.
  • Integrating many different types of hardware devices and I/O systems (sensors actuators pneumatics servos/motion controls robotics lasers printers scanners and many other types of devices).
  • Proficient designing electrical control systems using AutoCAD/Solid works electric pneumatic diagrams enclosure/panel layouts power logic and safety circuits.
  • Startup support system commissioning and system troubleshooting
  • Assis with technical writing of scope of work operating and user guides
  • Field wire panel wire and conduit to meet UL/NEC standards

Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Automation Controls/Electronics engineering or a 5 years of automation industrial environment experience or 2-year technical degree with 10-year experience
  • PLC programming experience in structured text and ladder logic experience in designing software controls for many types of industrial automated systems
  • Experience with the techniques required for interfacing communicating controlling and troubleshooting automated machinery
  • Knowledge of AC/DC systems VFDS and motors
  • Good interpersonal skills confident team player with co-workers and management
  • Experience in Microsoft Office Suite
