Our client is currently seeking a qualifiedSenior Software Engineerto join their teamhybrid in Charlotte NC. The position will start as normal business hours - 8 am to 5 pm. Could move to evening shift during the peak Windows 10 to Windows 11 conversions. Hybrid will be 3 days in the office and 2 days remote.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Participate in moderate to highly complex initiatives and projects associated with the technology domain including installation upgrades and deployment efforts
- Identify opportunities for service quality and availability improvements within the technology domain environment
- Design code test debug and document for low to moderately complex projects and programs associated with technology domain including upgrades and deployments
- Review and analyze technical assignments or challenges that are related to low to medium risk deliverables and that require research evaluation and selection of alternative technology domains
- Present recommendations for resolving issues or may escalate issues as needed to meet established service level agreements
- Exercise some independent judgment while also developing understanding of given technology domain in reference to security and compliance requirements
- Provide information to technology colleagues internal partners and stakeholders
Skills and Qualifications:
- Minimum 4 years of software engineering experience or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience training military experience education
- Bachelors / Masters degree in computer science or equivalent
- Strong years of hands-on IT experience in developing complex highly integrated web-based applications Framework
- Should have work experience in C# / .NET Core jQuery Web services Azure & Client scripts
- Experience in XML MVC Client scripts REST Web API and JSON
- Experience Core web APIs
- Hands-on experience with React JS
- TFS & Microsoft SQL Server experience is a must
- Should have clear understanding of OOP techniques and design principles
- Should be able to deploy the applications in non-production environments on Windows platforms
- Work Experience in IIS application server
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Good problem-solving and analytical skills
- Should be detail-oriented able to multitask
- Self-starter and team player
The hourly rate for this position is between $46.50 - $62.00 per hour unless local minimum wage is higher. Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market skills education experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
