We will count on you to:
- Assist with taking meeting notes and following up with action items and assignments
- Research analyze and present findings on various policy and program topics to project leaders and senior consultant team members
- Provide project coordination activities and other work to support the advancement of project tasks and client deliverables
- Review project documentation including technical write-ups project documentation and executive summaries
- Utilize internal and external resources participate in training courses online learning or through learning from more experienced colleagues to gain an understanding of government-sponsored health and welfare programs
- Manage your time effectively to support a variety of state Medicaid/CHIP projects at any one time
- Manage the quality and timeliness of client deliverables and communicate regularly and effectively with project team members
- Assist with the preparation and timely delivery of clear and concise project team and client communications
- Follow protocols for quality assurance
What you need to have:
- Bachelorsdegree
- 1 year of experience with healthcare or public health related topics may include a combination of internships or pre-graduate experiences
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities
- Ability to translate technical findings into clear client-friendly insights
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
What makes you stand out
- Masters degree in public health health policy health services research or a related field
- Experience with Medicaid health programs or other government-sponsored healthcare programs
- Strong communication skills with the ability to present findings to non-technical audiences
- Experience performing technical analyses in Excel SAS or other data analysis tools
- Project management and/or project leadership credentials
