As a Security Officer Access Screening Driver in HICKORY NC you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial and more. Join Allied Universal as a Front Desk Officer at a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location where you will welcome visitors manage access and badges monitor the front entrance and support daily security-related operations with professionalism and care. Job Schedule:

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific procedures front desk protocols and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
• Monitor access at the front desk by greeting visitors verifying identification and/or credentials logging entries and communicating with site contacts regarding guest arrivals.
• Answer phones assist with inquiries direct employees visitors and/or vendors and document incidents concerns and other security-related activity in a clear and timely manner.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner escalating issues to site leadership and/or emergency services when appropriate.
• Support a professional lobby and reception area presence within a manufacturing and industrial location while following post orders visitor management practices and other security-related policies.

Minimum Requirements:

• Proof of high school diploma or GED is required.
• A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
