Quality Manager Product & Services

Boeing Defense Space and Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for a KC-46 Product & Services Quality Manager (K-Level) within the Mobility and Surveillance organization directly supporting our Boom Shop in Everett WA!

Position Responsibilities:

• Manages employees who evaluate and ensure that products services and processes comply with customer contract requirements engineering requirements company procedures and government regulations

• Develops and executes business plans policies and procedures and develops organizational and technical strategies to improve performance

• Provides education and coaching on the Quality System

• May make airworthiness determinations on behalf of the company and regulatory agencies

• Acquires and manages resources and leads process improvements

• Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers stakeholders peers partners suppliers government agencies and direct reports

• Manages employees who are union and non-union representative

• Manages develops and motivates employees

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

• Candidates must have at least one year of experience in a leadership role (team leader temp manager large scale cross functional project/program management or formal manager experience) OR completion of the Boeing internal course Exploring Leadership.

• More than 5 years of aerospace manufacturing

• More than 3 years of experience leading and influencing people in a Quality organization

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• Active U.S Security Clearance

• Bachelors degree or higher

Shift:

This position is for 2nd shift however must have the ability to work variable shifts including days nights weekends and/or holidays

Travel:

Up to 10% of the time
