Position Summary
This position is for a Quality Inspector at our Lancaster PA facility. The Quality Inspector works closely with Operations and Product Development teams to perform incoming in-process and final inspections supporting commercial and government programs.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
Inspect incoming materials and components
Perform in-process and final inspections on manufactured products
Ensure materials and products meet quality standards in accordance with company policy and ISO9001/AS9100 procedures
Identify and segregate nonconforming material and generate nonconformance reports
Support Supplier Quality initiatives
Requirements
High school diploma or GED
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and shop drawings
Proficiency with basic inspection tools (micrometers calipers height gauges etc.)
Basic computer skills (Outlook Word Excel)
Basic math skills
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Additional Qualifications (Preferred)
Authorized to work in the U.S.; U.S. Citizen Permanent Resident or Protected Individual preferred due to ITAR responsibilities
Experience with ERP systems
