The Professional Support II provides professional administrative and analytical support to Washington Headquarters Services (WHS) Facilities Services Directorate (FSD). This position assists management and program staff by developing internal policies reports and presentations and by providing operational and programmatic coordination. The role requires a solid understanding of government programs mission objectives and management principles and is performed with limited supervision.
Essential Functions
Draft internal policies reports and management briefings for leadership review.
Support WHS/FSD operations by applying sound analytical and administrative skills.
Conduct basic research and analysis to evaluate program or project performance.
Develop graphics visuals and presentations to communicate findings to management.
Demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Word Excel PowerPoint SharePoint Teams).
Review documentation for completeness and accuracy.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to standardize policies and procedures.
Collect and analyze data to support operational assessments.
Provide direct administrative and logistical support to project or program leads.
Perform other duties as assigned at the task order level.
Required Qualifications
Bachelors degree in a related discipline.
Minimum 10 years of relevant professional experience.
Knowledge of management principles administrative processes and analytical methods.
Strong communication critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Ability to prepare concise accurate written materials and professional presentations.
Advanced proficiency with Microsoft 365 applications.
Ability to work collaboratively across teams and manage competing priorities.
Understanding of federal government operations and reporting structures preferred.
Citizenship and Security Clearance
U.S. Citizenship required.
Active Secret Security Clearance is required.
Work Environment
Primary duty location is the Pentagon (WHS/FSD) in Arlington VA.
Work is performed in a professional office environment with some onsite collaboration and limited travel.
