Marvells Custom Compute and Storage Business Unit (CCS) is an industry leader in custom silicon solutions for accelerated computing infrastructure. We partner with customers to execute complex custom solutions with flexible engagement models using the most advanced technologies and IP. We focus on solving the most difficult design problems in the data center wired and wireless communications and other infrastructure applications.

What You Can Expect

Marvell is seeking an individual with experience in cross-functional technical leadership to join the IP Program Management (PM) team to drive the complete IP solution per Marvell CCS product. You will work across functional teams to define identify deliver and manage IP solutions for Marvells most complex chips.

In this role you will work with internal and external IP suppliers on roadmaps costs schedule quality and strategic factors in support of IP sourcing decisions. The IP PM team proactively identifies issues with proposed IP that could impact the overall chip sizing or execution all the way through mass production. The IP PM role will interface both internally and externally at multiple seniority levels. To be successful in this role you will be able to promote clear documentation good organization and data-based decision making across the organization.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Provide end-to-end project management for IP on custom processors

  • Align IP needs of the Business Unit with current & future IP offerings from internal and external sources. Includes collaboration with internal stakeholders as well as data and/or models to drive the decision making process

  • Facilitate on-time licensing and acquisition of IPs and associated collateral

  • Confirm that IP validation plans & reports comply with qualification and customer requirements

  • Drive IP portion of all reviews and checkpoints to ensure IP quality and delivery during product lifecycle process

  • Drive IP issue analysis and resolution.

  • Conduct quality-related initiatives with respect to IP including continuous improvement projects

What Were Looking For

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science Electrical Engineering or related fields and 5-10 years of related professional experience or Masters degree and/or PhD in Computer Science Electrical Engineering or related fields with 3-5 years of experience or equivalent professional experience in lieu of a formal degree

  • Minimum of 5 years in semiconductor industry program management or related role

  • Proven leadership time management and organizational skills

  • Outstanding cross-functional management skills with a demonstrated ability to build trust manage expectations and drive alignment across diverse stakeholder groups

  • Exceptional communication skills both written and verbal with the ability to convey complex technical concepts clearly and effectively to internal teams and external partners

  • Advanced skills in risk identification analysis and problem-solving

  • Demonstrated ability to make sound decisions that align with both internal strategic objectives and customer requirements

Preferred Requirements:

  • Solid technical background in an area applicable to custom processor development such as design validation test quality etc

  • Experience working with customers external partners and/or technology vendors in a semiconductor or related hardware context

  • Previous work with one or more types of IP or technology used in modern SoC designs

Expected Base Pay Range (USD)

160100 - 236990 $ per annum

The successful candidates starting base pay will be determined based on job-related skills experience qualifications work location and market conditions. The expected base pay range for this role may be modified based on market conditions.
