Location: Northern Rhode Island Schedule: 1st Shift Compensation: $30-$35/HR plus benefits
We are seeking an Automation Engineering Technician to support robotics automation systems and production equipment in a high-volume manufacturing environment. This is a hands-on role focused on equipment troubleshooting maintenance changeovers and production support.
Responsibilities: Troubleshoot and repair automated production equipment Support robotics automation systems sensors and related equipment Perform equipment setups changeovers and startup activities Complete preventive maintenance and equipment repairs Diagnose mechanical electrical pneumatic and hydraulic issues Support manufacturing operations to maximize equipment uptime Work with Engineering Maintenance and Production teams to resolve equipment issues Assist with automation improvements and equipment upgrades Train and support less experienced technicians as needed
Requirements: 3 years of automation robotics maintenance or manufacturing technician experience Experience supporting automated production equipment Strong troubleshooting skills involving mechanical and electrical systems Experience with equipment setup changeovers and preventive maintenance Ability to read schematics drawings and technical documentation Experience with robotics or industrial automation equipment preferred Manufacturing experience required
