Job Summary
The People Operations Partner serves as a key member of the People Operations team reporting directly to the Director People Operations. This role partners closely with leaders and team members across the organization to support employee relations benefits administration payroll support employee engagement initiatives onboarding and offboarding activities and internal communications.
The People Operations Partner acts as a trusted advisor and resource helping to fostera positiveemployee experience while ensuring consistent application of company policies practices and People Operations programs. The ideal candidate is proactive collaborative highly organized and passionate about supporting employees and organizational success.
This is an in-office position that requires regular on-site presence and travel throughout the assigned region to support division offices and team members.
Duties/Responsibilities
Duties and responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
Employee Relations
- Provide guidance and support to managers and team members on employee relations matters including:
- Performance management
- Goal setting
- Performance evaluations
- Coaching and development conversations
- Corrective actions and documentation
- One-on-one meeting best practices
- Assistleaders in resolving employee concerns and promoting a positive work environment.
- Monitor and respond to inquiries received through the People Operations inbox.
- Ensure consistent application of company policies and employment practices.
Benefits Administration
- Serve as a resource for team member benefits-related questions.
- Direct employees to appropriatebenefitsresources and external support providers.
- Support benefits communications and employee education initiatives.
- Partner with vendors and internal stakeholders to resolve benefits-related issues.
Payroll Support
- Respond to payroll-related inquiries from managers and team members.
- Coordinate and process approved pay adjustments.
- Partner with payroll stakeholders to ensuretimelyandaccurateresolution of payroll concerns.
Onboarding and Offboarding
- Support onboarding activities to ensure a positive and seamless new hire experience.
- Coordinate offboarding processes including employee separation documentation and communications.
- Assistwithmaintainingonboarding and offboarding procedures and resources.
Internal Communications
- Support the Director People Operations in coordinating company-wide and division-level communications.
- Assistwith planning and execution of Company Town Halls and Division Town Halls.
- Help ensure employees receivetimelyaccurate and engaging organizational updates.
Employee Engagement and Recognition
- Support company-wide employee engagement initiatives and programs.
- Coordinate quarterly and annual employee recognition and awards programs.
- Assistwith activities that strengthen company culture employee satisfaction and retention.
Mergers and Acquisitions Support
- Supportpre-close integration planning including employee onboarding materials offer letters organizational documentation and transition readiness activities.
- Coordinate Day One and Week One onboarding activities ensuring a smooth transition into IOS policies benefits systems and culture.
- Partner with leaders to execute employee communications change management and workforce integration activities throughout the acquisition process.
- Provide ongoing support toacquiredemployees and leaders to drive engagement retention and successful long-term integration into IOS.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelors degree in Human Resources Business Administration or a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 5 years of Human Resources experience.
- Strong knowledge of HR practices employee relations employment policies and workforce support programs.
- Excellent interpersonal communication relationship-building and conflict-resolution skills.
- Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- High emotional intelligence discretion and the ability to build trust and credibility across all levels of the organization.
- Experience supporting organizational change acquisitions employee onboarding or workforce integration initiatives preferred.
- Proficiencywith Microsoft Office and HRIS/People Operations systems.
- Willingnessto travel up to 25% to other offices andacquiredcompany locations
