Payroll Administrator
Job Summary
We are looking to hire a full-time Payroll Administrator. This role is out of Provo Utah.
Position Summary
The Payroll Administratoris responsible fortheaccurateandtimelyprocessing of payroll ensuring compliance with applicable laws regulations and company policies. This role supports payroll operationsmaintainsemployee records and serves as a key point of contact for payroll-related inquiries.
Key Responsibilities
Processregular payroll cycles(weekly biweekly semi-monthly) accurately and on time
Maintainemployee payroll records including new hires terminations and changes
Calculate and processwages overtime bonuses commissions and deductions
Ensure proper handling oftax withholdings garnishments and benefits deductions
Reconcile payroll data and resolvediscrepancies or errors
Prepare and distributepay statements and reports
Supportpayroll auditsand ensure compliance with federal state and local regulations
Coordinate withHR and Financeon employee data compensation changes and reporting tools
Assistwithquarter- end andyear-end processes including W-2s and other tax filings
Respond to employee inquiriesregardingpay taxes and deductions
Qualifications
Associatesdegree inAccounting Finance Business Administration or related field (or equivalent experience)
25 years ofpayroll processing experience
Knowledge ofpayroll laws tax regulations and compliance requirements
Experience with payroll systems (e.g. ADP Workday Paychex SAP)
Strong attention to detail andaccuracy
High levelofproficiencyinExcel and payroll reporting tools
Strong organizational andproblem-solving skills
Ability to handleconfidential informationwith discretion
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelors degree inAccounting Finance Business Administration
Fundamental PayrollCertified(FPC )or CertifiedPayroll Professional (CPP)designation
Experience withmulti-state or global payroll
Familiarity withHRIS systemsand integrations
