Painter

Oceanpoint Ranch is looking for a Painter to join the team! The Painter will be responsible for minor repairs and painting interior and exterior surfaces of the Cambria Collection hotels using paint varnishes lacquers sealers and stains.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities of the job include but are not limited to:

• Responsible for painting exterior and interior areas as assigned.
• Execute pre-painting activities including cleaning scraping sanding patching caulking and masking of adjacent surfaces prior to painting papering texturing etc.
• Follow managements instructions in maintaining an inventory of paint and supplies.
• Follow managements instruction in executing the job utilizing appropriate finishes and applications.
• Comply with OSHA/MSDS guidelines with respect to the use of hazardous chemicals.
• Stay up-to-date with storage and disposal laws regulations codes etc.
• Proper cleaning of areas supplies and equipment at the completion of project.
• Assist in storing leftover paint in the appropriate locations.
• Support team with special maintenance projects as needed.

Qualifications

Knowledge/Education/Experience: Minimum of two (2) years experience.

Skills/Abilities/Other Requirements: English speaking or bilingual. Ability to prioritize organize and make good judgments. Valid drivers license with proof of auto liability insurance. Dependable.

Physical Requirements: Frequent walking indoors / outdoors climbing stairs and ladders standing sitting. Repetitive bending stooping twisting reaching pushing pulling kneeling crawling squatting lifting and carrying. Reaching above at and below shoulder level. Must have the ability to push pull lift and move up to 50 lbs. without assistance

Pay Range: $23.00-$25.00/hour
