Job Summary:
The Painter is responsible for preparing and applying paint coatings and finishes to a variety of surfaces. This role ensures work is completed safely efficiently and in alignment with company standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning sanding patching and priming
- Apply paint varnish stains or other finishes using brushes rollers or sprayers
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow all safety procedures and guidelines
- Inspect completed work to ensure quality standards are met
- Perform minor repairs to surfaces as needed
Qualifications:
- Previous painting or maintenance experience preferred
- Basic knowledge of painting tools and techniques
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to stand bend and lift as required
Work Environment:
- May involve indoor and outdoor work
- Requires physical activity including standing for extended periods and lifting materials
