Our client is seeking a full-time Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our Pain Management team in Sarasota. This role is ideal for a provider passionate about evidence-based non-opioid pain management functional restoration and patient-centered outpatient care.
The Position:
We are currently seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner to evaluate diagnose and manage patients with acute and chronic pain conditions in an outpatient setting. The NP will work collaboratively with physicians and clinical staff to provide comprehensive pain management physical medicine and rehabilitative care while emphasizing non-opioid and minimally invasive treatment approaches. This role includes patient evaluations medication management interventional therapies within scope documentation and care coordination.
Salary:$120000 to $130000

Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations histories physical exams and diagnostic assessments
Diagnose and manage acute and chronic pain conditions
Develop individualized treatment plans focused on pain reduction and functional improvement
Prescribe medications in compliance with DEA and state regulations
Perform in-office procedures and therapies within scope of practice
Interpret diagnostic imaging and laboratory results
Coordinate physical medicine rehabilitation therapy and DME services
Educate patients on treatment plans preventive care and long-term outcomes
Maintain accurate and timely EMR documentation
Ensure compliance with coding billing and regulatory requirements
Collaborate with physicians therapists and multidisciplinary care teams
Participate in quality improvement initiatives case reviews and clinical meetings
Maintain professionalism and current licensure/certifications
Requirements:
Full-Time Exempt Position
Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) Family Nurse Practitioner concentration required
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required
Active Florida APRN and RN licenses
National FNP Certification (AANP or equivalent)
Active DEA license and prescriptive authority
Minimum 23 years of Nurse Practitioner experience in primary care pain management physical medicine or related outpatient setting
Strong clinical judgment communication and patient education skills
Experience in physical medicine regenerative medicine integrative care or multidisciplinary outpatient settings preferred
